Laji Capital structures, deploys and manages capital across electronics, cosmetics, construction materials, agriculture and logistics in Cameroon — with reporting, oversight and a documented exit, whether you're investing from Douala or the diaspora.
Structured trade — inventory, retail, and returns, managed end to end
Laji Capital is a privately held commercial capital management vehicle, pooling capital into essential, low-risk, cashflow-generating sectors — with returns backed by productive physical assets, not speculation. We focus on commerce, technology, real estate, and mobility.
Raising local capital to scale small businesses into multilocal enterprises with global standards.
Every engagement is documented — roles, milestones and exit terms agreed upfront, before any capital moves.
Partners get regular, honest performance updates — whether they're across town or across an ocean.
On-the-ground operators in Douala, built to work just as well for capital partners based abroad.
Alongside its capital management work, Laji Capital invests directly in home-grown technology. Two flagship platforms are live today, with more already in development.
A smart asset management platform that helps you secure and keep track of what matters to you.
A rapid emergency response platform, making health available promptly to people who need it — through its flagship product, MyDoqta.
Laji Capital's technology portfolio is still growing. If you're solving a real problem, we're always looking for the next venture to back.
Whichever door fits you, the same discipline applies: real assets, documented structure, and reporting you can trust.
You have capital sitting idle — locally or abroad. We structure it into a managed commercial asset in a vertical that fits your goals, run by a vetted operator, reported to you monthly.
Become a capital partnerYou need financing, but your business plan isn't lender-ready, or the collateral requirement is out of reach. We restructure the business and match you with the right microfinance institution.
Request financing supportYou're a microfinance institution or insurer with liquidity to deploy or a product gap to fill. Our financial product innovation team designs and manages the commercial or insurance product on your behalf.
Talk to our product teamLaji Capital helps you deploy your capital to effective work through two distinctive programs: the LajiPreneur program, for those who want to be at the front seat of where their money goes, and the Commercial Asset Management Program (CAMP), for those who'd rather sit back and watch their money make more money, steadily. Full breakdowns of all three routes in are on their own page.
Run your own LajiBusiness — buy into a Laji ecosystem product, build your own sales force, and keep the direct profit on every unit. Entry from 21,000 XAF.
See the full breakdownDeploy spare capital into real commercial inventory — electronics, cosmetics, construction, agriculture, real estate and more — fully managed on your behalf. Entry from 1,500,000 XAF.
See the full breakdownThe same managed structure as CAMP, scoped exclusively to Laji's own ecosystem products, at a much lower entry point. Entry from 150,000 XAF.
See the full breakdownMany of our capital partners live outside Cameroon. The structure is the same across every program above: a documented agreement, a vetted operator on the ground, and reporting that reaches you wherever you are — no guessing what happened to your money. Building a house rather than a trading business? See the construction program below.
This is a different program from commercial capital management: here, the loan and the finished building belong to you. Instead of wiring money to a relative or a contractor and hoping for the best, your build is financed through a bank and run by a professional project team, from foundation to handover.
Most financing applications don't fail because the business is weak — they fail because the plan wasn't built for what the lender is actually looking for. We fix that first, then bring in the right partner.
Laji Capital is your broker, not your lender: we don't lend directly, guarantee approval, or carry repayment risk. Our brokerage fee — a disclosed percentage of the loan or a flat fee — is only payable once your loan is approved, before disbursement, alongside any commission the lender pays us. Optional add-ons like business-plan drafting, registration, or tax regularisation are quoted separately.
Request financing supportWe handle the legal side of starting up, but we don't stop at paperwork — every registration comes with a read on whether the market actually supports the business you're building.
For microfinance institutions and insurers: we design commercial capital and insurance products your institution can offer to depositors, policyholders or its own balance sheet — structured as asset participation and service management, not lending.
Capital deployments start small and scale in clean multiples. Advisory and structuring work is scoped to the job. The one thing every route shares is a paid consultation first — see the last line below.
No. Commercial Capital Management runs on CAMP, our Commercial Asset Management Program — it is not a loan scheme, a savings program, or a promise of guaranteed returns. You own a commercial asset (inventory, equipment or stock) and your returns come from real trade activity, not interest or borrower repayments. Laji Capital is a commercial capital management and advisory firm, not a licensed deposit-taking institution.
As a capital partner, you own a share of a trading business and earn from its resale margins. In the construction program, you take out a bank loan to build your own property — Laji Capital manages the project (architects, engineers, milestone payments and reporting), but the loan and the finished building are yours.
It depends on the route: LajiPreneur starts from 21,000 XAF, CAMP for Laji from 150,000 XAF, and the wider Commercial Capital Management verticals (CAMP) from 1,500,000 XAF, in clean multiples. Full details on all three are on our Invest with us page.
Yes — diaspora capital partners are one of our most active investor groups. We handle the on-the-ground structuring and oversight, and report to you wherever you're based.
It pays for an honest recommendation. We review your goals, capital size and risk appetite against real market conditions before advising on a route — rather than steering you toward whichever package suits us.
No — loan brokerage and business restructuring follow a separate track. Reach out through the "Businesses & registration" tab below and we'll scope the work from there.
Pick the option that fits, and we'll follow up to schedule your consultation or scope the work.
